Step 1: Before starting your chain saw, the chain brake (brake lever) should be pushed forward to brake.

Step 2: Be sure to remove the guide plate sheath before starting the chain saw.

Step 3: If the chain saw is equipped with a pressure relief valve, press down. It will assist in igniting the engine and starting your chainsaw.

Step 4: If your chain saw is equipped with a manual oil pump, press it several times. This will help start and reduce the number of times the start rope needs to be pulled.

Step 5: Press the throttle lock and throttle first. Then press the main lever (black) to the bottom (turn off the wind).

Step 6: Place the chain saw on a flat surface. Saw chains and guides must never touch the ground to avoid danger.

Step 7: Hold the ring handle with your left hand and the starting handle with your right hand. Step on the rear handle with your right foot to fix the chain saw.

Step 8: Slowly pull the starting rope until you feel resistance. Then forcefully pull the starter rope vertically as many times as possible until the engine ignites.

Step 9: The temporary ignition of the engine will soon be extinguished (this is normal). The main control lever (black) moves up one position (half throttle position) to open the closing air.

Step 10: Pull the starting rope again until the engine ignites again.

Step 11: Once the engine is started, release the throttle immediately after adding a little throttle. The main control lever will automatically jump to the normal idle position.

Step 12: Lift the chain saw, being careful not to touch the throttle.

Step 13: Release the brake with the left hand backwards on the zipper brake (brake lever). When you hear a click, it means that the chain can be turned on the guide plate. Caution: Failure to release the brake fuel valve will seriously damage the key components of the chain saw!

Step 14: Before working, check the chain lubricant. Put the chain saw on the tree trunk or the ground, and increase the throttle to the end. If an oil line appears, it means that the lubrication system is normal and can start to work. Note: Using a chain saw in the absence of lubrication will seriously damage the guide plate, chain, sprocket and oil teeth, and even the engine!

The method of hot start is basically the same as cold start. However, since the chain saw is in a hot engine state, steps 5, 8, and 9 should be skipped when starting. Directly move the main lever (black) up one position (half throttle position) to open the closing air. Continue to step 10.
